1. Purpose and acceptance

This legal notice governs access to and use of the website https://cryptocited.com ("the website"), which provides free information, without registration, about crypto assets, crypto exchanges and trading, the tax treatment of crypto assets and personal finance, for readers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.

Anyone who accesses the website is a user. By browsing the website you accept this legal notice in the version published at the time of access, together with the privacy policy and the cookie policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website.

2. Access and use

Access to the website is free of charge, apart from the cost of your own internet connection. You do not need to register or provide personal data to read it.

When using the website you agree to:

  • Use the website and its content lawfully, diligently and in good faith.
  • Not use it for unlawful purposes or in ways that could harm the rights or interests of the owner or third parties.

4. Sources and updates

6.1. Service provider. The website https://cryptocited.com, presented under the trade name Crypto Cited, and the guides and pages it contains are an information society service provided, in their own name and as an individual, by , referred to in this legal notice as "the owner".

The owner provides the service directly, without intermediaries, and is responsible for the content published on the website under its trade name. The trade name Crypto Cited identifies the website and does not correspond to a company. Crypto Cited does not belong to any public authority, financial institution or business group, and has no commercial ties with crypto exchanges, wallets, brokers or other companies whose services users may use.

6.2. Nature of the activity. The activity consists of publishing information about crypto assets, crypto exchanges, trading, the tax treatment of crypto assets and personal finance, prepared from official sources that are cited and linked on each page. The website does not provide personalised advice, does not sell goods or services, does not handle users' money or crypto assets, and does not act on behalf of users before any authority or company. Access is free and does not require registration. The website may be funded by advertising, as set out in section 10.

6.3. Tax identification. For the purposes of article 10.1.e) of the LSSI, the owner is identified before the Spanish tax authorities with tax identification number , which corresponds to the activity described above.

This number is published solely to comply with that legal obligation. Using it for any other purpose, such as impersonating the owner or adding it to databases, may breach data protection law.

6.4. Authorisations and professional bodies. The activity of the website is not subject to prior administrative authorisation. Through it, the owner does not practise any regulated profession and does not belong to any professional body. In particular, Crypto Cited is not a financial adviser, an investment firm, a crypto-asset service provider or a tax adviser, and is not authorised or registered as such in any country.

Like the other details in this section, the address is published only to comply with the LSSI and may not be used for any other purpose.

6.6. Registration. The owner is an individual and is not registered in the Spanish Commercial Registry for this activity, which is not carried out through a company, nor in any other public registry that must be stated under article 10.1.b) of the LSSI.

6.7. Direct contact. For any question, complaint or communication about the website, the owner can be contacted at hello@cryptocited.com, which allows direct and effective communication. You can also write from the contact page, which prepares the message in your email app. There is no telephone or in-person service. The personal data you send us is used only to reply, as explained in the privacy policy.

6.8. Language. The website and its legal texts are written in English, which is the language in which communications are handled.

6.9. Changes to these details. If any of the details in this section change, they will be updated here and in the privacy policy, and the date of the last update will be shown at the top of this page.

7. Intellectual property

The texts, design, code, structure, selection and presentation of information and other original elements of the website belong to the owner or are used with permission, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.
